St. Pius X Catholic School is hiring a director of our extended day program. This person would oversee our program which provides care for children ages 5-14 before school and after school. The director would work some shifts in the program, either before school from 6:30 a.m. until 7:45 a.m., or after school from 3:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. The director would also manage schedules for personnel, manage check-in and check-out of students, manage student files, oversee licensing for the program, and work with school office staff for billing of families.
This position requires that you meet guidelines for a director through the state childcare licensing. There are various ways to meet director qualifications, including having a teaching certificate, having worked a minimum number of hours in a child care program along with a college degree, or other possibilities. Directors will need to pass several state and federal background checks, as well as take Safe Environment training and other required training.
