The vision of the Colorado Christian University (CCU) Academy is to provide affordable dual enrollment opportunities for high school students to help cut costs for families, prepare students for college, and provide an avenue for high school students to graduate with a high school diploma, CCU college credit, and even an associate's degree at the same time when they choose to pursue the A.A. in Liberal Arts track.
The Director of Marketing will create and execute marketing initiatives for all Online Dual Enrollment, Dual Credit, and Associate Degree programs within CCU Academy, including campaigns, lead generation, marketing collateral design and management, and other duties as assigned.

Additionally, the Director of Marketing provides marketing and event direction and supervision for CCU Academy Representatives. The Director works alongside the Dean and Associate Deans to promote professional protocol within the department, with high school administrators, faculty, students, and other organizations. The Director acts as a spokesperson for the CCU Academy within and outside the university, working with other departments at CCU, meeting with schools, and organizations across the nation, and representing the Academy as a lead convention vendor and event coordinator.

We're looking for candidates who have:

  • A Master's degree in marketing or a related field is required.
  • Excellent written and editing skills, in addition to strong verbal communication.
  • Strong organizational skills and work ethic, with the ability to work on various projects simultaneously to meet challenging deadlines with excellence.
  • Experience in secondary and higher education in an administrative, project management, and supervisory role is preferred.
  • Strong technology skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and database systems used within secondary and higher education.
  • The ability to interface and collaborate with other departments within the university.

Key Job Duties

  • Contribute to CCU's mission: Christ-centered higher education, transforming students to impact the world with grace and truth. In this role, the Director of Marketing for the CCU Academy contributes to the mission by creatively promoting Christ-centered higher education through various marketing campaigns, marketing projects, social media posts, and partnerships with high schools nationwide.
  • Champion the mission of the CCU Academy, providing excellent customer service committed to promoting dual credit and online dual enrollment options for students in schools both nationally and internationally.
  • Provide direction to CCU Academy staff related to marketing and developing concepts and plans to promote to different territories locally, nationally, and internationally, existing CCU Academy partners, and potential partners. Work closely with deans in aiding in the leadership of the CCU Academy.
  • Supervise Graduate Assistant on marketing projects and events.
  • Responsible for developing concepts and content for specific marketing campaigns, including writing, editing, and proofing content. Assist in the creation andcreating and executingng strategy, including but not limited to promotional videos, digital media, physical collateral, web marketing, etc. Define populations and schedule campaigns. Use social media as a marketing tool, including listening to customers and announcing the dual enrollment opportunities the CCU Academy has available to high school students and families.
  • Support digital communication efforts and student success through email and SMS.
  • Oversee special events for the CCU Academy, including but not limited to current and past Dual Credit and Dual Enrollment students, partner schools, and potential partner schools and students.
  • Manage and analyze data about CCU Academy and marketing efforts, including but not limited to survey data regarding student and instructor experience, course material and execution feedback, etc. Manages and maintains up-to-date marketing collateral content.
  • Travel periodically visiting schools during registration, back-to-school events, course evaluations, and recruitment. Travel may include program representation as a convention exhibitor and recruiter of home-school students and co-ops.
  • Provide customer service with partner schools, students, and parents during virtual webinars and orientations.
  • Work closely with the Dean and Associate Deans in strategic planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with Assistant Deans and Admissions Department Associate Directors in formulating cross-promotional visits for both departments.
  • Collaborates with the CCU Academy leadership team in formulating special projects for Dual Enrollment, Dual Credit, and associate degrees.
  • Support CCU's Student Life department through involvement in campus-wide programming, committees, and events.
  • Complete other duties in support and student success, as assigned.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, you may be required to walk, stand, sit, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, speak with clarity, and have appropriate vision and hearing capabilities. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds. You may be required to work occasional irregular hours, including some nights and weekends. Colorado Christian University expects all faculty and staff to become a part of the University community by participating in activities and events that pus throughout the year, which may occur during evenings and weekends.

Pay and benefits will be discussed in more detail as candidates progress through the interview process. The pay range for this job is $47,000-52,000 annually. Pay is assigned by reviewing a combination of job-related factors, including internal/external pay equity, the salary structure/pay grade, or a candidate’s qualifications/experience for the job. A wage range posted is not a guarantee of a specific wage, and CCU reserves the right to make pay decisions based on economic and equity considerations. CCU does not determine pay based on sex or any other protected status.
