Family Ministry Pastor

We value high quality Family Ministry on Sundays and throughout the week.
We desire a great fit to our team and church culture, so we are looking carefully and thoroughly for the right person. We desire an energetic person (preferably a married couple with kids) who is passionate to lead school aged ministry and actively disciple their parents. The ideal candidate will be a spiritually mature follower of Jesus, baptized in the Holy Spirit, and have solid knowledge of God's Word that includes both a strong revelation of grace and faith. This person will be out-going and enjoy telling others about Jesus as well as possess the interpersonal skills to carry a conversation with anyone about everyday life. The primary mission of this person is disciple each of member of the family through Sunday worship, bible studies, and other engaging programs and outreaches.
Here is a list of position requirements for the ideal candidate:
Elementary age bible teaching experience required. Bible teaching experience to teens and adults preferred.
Ministry license or ordination preferred and a four year degree required.
Self-starter who is motivated to work smart and NOT just busy.
Possess an understanding of how to be innovative and resourceful in order to create a life changing Family Ministry for ages birth – grade 5.
Passion to see children and their parents become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. Making disciples who become disciple makers.
Must possess relational charisma and healthy rapport with children and their parents.
Engaging and likeable personality and able to hold comfortable conversations with believers and non-believers alike.
Possess very strong administrative and organizational skills to lead and direct large scale community outreaches such as Egg Hunt, SummerFest, HarvestFest, etc.
Strong leadership skills to build, train, coach, and teach multiple adult volunteer teams leading ministry for ages birth to grade 5.
This position is a salaried full-time position. As the ministry grows so will the compensation for this position.
