RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Create and facilitate inclusive gathering spaces geared towards reaching new people

  • Recruit, onboard, and launch new group hosts and community opportunities.

  • Resource and retain group hosts

  • Create and maintain an intentional, connected community for group hosts (Church@home, Uplift, Conversation, and Activity group hosts)

  • Partner with generations Pastors to insure we are reaching all kids from birth to 18 years old

  • Oversee implementation of local large gatherings

  • Strategize and implement effective community strategy to build thriving decentralized community

  • Recruit and retain hosts to become Volunteer Host Coaches in their communities/regions.

  • Collaboration with the Host Pastors team to create a comprehensive and well-curated set of processes, resources, training and tools for hosts to develop as leaders

  • Required Pastor Chat responsibilities.

  • Churchome may also assign other duties or responsibilities, in its sole discretion.


EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS


  • 5+ years of relevant work experience

  • Formal pastoral licensing or training preferred

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills

  • Effective communication, both verbally and written.

  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

  • Confidentiality and Discretion; with higher levels of responsibility and authority comes a greater demand for discretion and wisdom.

  • Strong relationally and the ability to influence and be involved with training and equipping leaders.

  • Operates well within clear systems
