The Archdiocese of Denver is seeking a relational, creative, and organized person to serve as a Talent Coordinator. If you are a person who loves building and running processes while working closely with people, wed love to meet you. This exciting position is responsible for the assisting in recruiting with best practice sharing, coordination of the talent acquisition process, and planning, development, and management of our key employee growth programs. In addition, this position will be a source of key processes, best practices, and resources for our ministries, parishes, and schools on finding people on mission who simultaneously bring tremendous skill and talent to their work. You will work within our Human Resources team to coordinate all talent functions and administration for Archdiocesan staff as well as support and consult on those same activities across all parishes and entities throughout the Archdiocese. Key Job Responsibilities (and KPIs for each: what success looks like in this role):

Talent Acquisition Administration *Metrics: Weekly review and updating of job requisition processes

Acquiring and analyzing turnover rates (1x to start and then semiannually)

Providing best practice template materials and support for hiring managers with job descriptions (ongoing)

Job postings (bi-weekly or as needed

Monitoring job postings and review of candidates for hiring managers at the Pastoral Center (daily)

Building interview process templates and supporting hiring managers in implementing

Providing hiring managers with Offer Letter Templates, Benefits Quick Guides, and other hiring materials when the right candidate is found (as needed)

Coordination/Management of Employee Onboarding *Metrics: Process followed on time with each employee and 98% accuracy with all onboarding steps

Ensuring all steps following offer letter are executed with 98%+ accuracy

I-9 and other HR paperwork (including checklists in Paycom) completed within 3 days of hire

Every employee has first week schedule

Ensuring accurate new employee information to Events team for New Hire Retreat (assisting as requested)

Continuous review and improvement of onboarding process, as determined by feedback from new hires, hiring managers, and employee retention Management of Professional and Professional/Personal Growth Programs *Metrics: 98% compliance with annual Job Flourishing Analysis reviews and timely launch and completion of professional growth programs (per determined schedule

Supporting department heads and managers in updating job descriptions

Implementing and coordinating use of systems to assess peoples strengths and align individual job functions and organizational job functions to best utilize those strengths

Coordination and program management of annual review process

Annual review of Job Flourishing Analysis review process to encourage human flourishing in Christ and professional excellence

Development of additional professional and personal growth programs (such as: quarterly reviews of goal setting, professional growth formation opportunities)

Coordination with Evangelization and Family Life and Chief Mission Officer for human incorporating Christian formation programs into practical work applications (e.g. Spiritual Gifts Inventory follow ups)

Center of Mission Engagement and Apostolic Maintenance Resource Development *Metrics: Quarterly (or more frequently) updates and communication of resource documents on Knowledgebase pertaining to attracting, recruiting, hiring, investing in, and retaining the best, on-mission disciples

Creation of process documents, templates, and other hiring resources for ministries/schools/parishes

Coordination with Marketing and Com - Coordinate with Marketing and Communications to update websites with resources and other communication, as necessary

Send key communications to ministries/schools/parishes about resources available

Presenting at various pastor training workshops, as requested

Presenting at various business manager formation dates, as requested Other Duties As Assigned

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree in business, psychology, organization development or other related field

3+ years successful experience as a recruiter, HR generalist, leadership development specialist, or similar role.

COMPETENCIES and QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a practicing Catholic eager to carry out the mission of the Archdiocese to rescue all people in Jesus Christ for the glory of the Father

Willingness to learn and grow

Team Player and Relationship Builder: An ability to establish rapport, put people at ease, and show genuine interest in others' needs and feelings at appropriate times while building trust through healthy conflict

Strong organizational skills and attention to details

Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for clarity, collaboration, and ease of work

Working knowledge of relevant hiring employment law a plus

An ability to maintain strict confidence regarding all information and issues addressed under this position; Must be able to recognize and respect confidential information in any and all forms.

Proficiency in Microsoft office suite, Adobe, and a generally sound understanding of how to navigate other information systems. Recruiting software a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Visual acuity both near and far, manual dexterity with good eye/hand coordination, good hearing and speech.

This position requires ability to sit for extended periods.

Standing walking, kneeling, stooping, bending, lifting, and squatting also will be required as necessary to perform the duties of the position
