Responsibilities Include:

· Assistant to Pastor Dawn, Operations Pastor

o Staff Support: maintain HR records, liaison for staff communication with accounting and all consultants, etc.

o Manage all staff and family celebrations (cakes, cards, etc.): birthdays (staff and their families), wedding anniversaries, staff anniversaries, etc.

o Schedule quarterly staff check-ins and annual staff reviews

o Support for Pastor Dawn in any area she oversees including, but not limited to, women’s groups, events, travel, planning, etc.

o Calendar: staff calendar updates and maintenance and calendar for Pastor Dawn

o Monitor and Manage staff usage of Credit Card

o Liaison for all guest speakers

· Office Manager:

o Manage receivables, cleanliness, stocking, and organization

o Order supplies, keep inventory, and maintenance (office, events, café, hospitality, cleaning, etc.), shopping and picking up supplies if needed

o Order signage; for events, branding, marketing

o Connection Cards & Weekend Sign-up Sheet: processing and communication

o Phones: answering/returning voicemails and connecting messages with appropriate staff leader

o Check Mail and distribute

o Ongoing email correspondence with congregation

o Office common areas: stock snacks & drinks, kitchen (organize, stock, & clean when needed), workroom (organize, stock, & manage equipment)

· Weekend/service experience support; train and fill in when needed or requested

o Baptism coordination/communication (for non-Sunday Baptisms as well)

o Baby dedication coordination/communication

o Special Sundays: Church Anniversary, Holidays, Pastor Appreciation (month), Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, etc.

· Church Wide Events: collaborate with each department, manage volunteer teams, plan and order supplies/food/drinks/etc., décor, games, etc.

· Accounting assist including tithe and bank deposits

· Database entry and management

· Admin for meetings; taking notes, printing if needed, food/drink orders when needed

· IMPACT Team Support: leaders; print, communications, and requests as needed

· Any other tasks as needed or requested by Pastors

Personal Qualifications

· 5-10 years Ministry Experience

· 5-10 years Administrative / Executive Assistant Experience

· Has a love for Christ, His Word, and the Church and is a mature Christ follower growing in grace

· A team player who demonstrates a willing attitude to serve as needed to further PLC’s Mission

· Have a conscientious work ethic; able to work at a fast pace within a variety of settings, maintaining a flexible attitude in changing environments, and considerate to everyone on the staff team

· Ability to look ahead and implement ideas and processes that fit Passionate Life’s culture and is in sync with future growth and overall vision of the church

· A self-starter, good at multi-taking, and prioritizing projects

· Able to work well with all types of personalities in a team setting and strives for unity in vision

· Creative, detail oriented, and decisive with the ability to organize, coordinate work, set priorities, & maintain systems

· Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality & handle controversial issues with grace

· Demonstrates leadership skills and has the ability to motivate others

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
