St. James Catholic School is looking to fill a classroom preschool aide position.
Our classroom is a balance of child directed center time and high academic achievement. The purpose of the Preschool is to assist the lead classroom teacher in the supervision of 10-20 students and be a contributing member of the Preschool Team. The aide needs to provide a calm but stimulating learning environment for children ages 3-5 years old. It is important to treat all children, parents, and staff with respect and dignity.
Duties Include:
- Clean and sanitize tables after transition periods
- To monitor outside recess with all students
- To monitor indoor classroom activities
- Log in attendance
- Maintain high levels of hygiene and safety at all times
- Maintain clean and organized storage closets
- Participate in prayer, Mass, and all other religious activities the
school supports
