The Salvation Army Denver Social Services Department is seeking a professional, passionate, and dedicated Full-Time Program Administrator (PA) at Harbor Light Men’s Relapse Prevention Center and Veterans Transitional Housing Program. The PA is responsible for the oversight of programming the facility, ensuring cohesion and support for all residents, staff, interns, and volunteers. PA is also responsible for administrative functions such as hiring, budget management, human resources, and facility management. The position is critical in uniting all staff from the milieu of services and creating and maintaining a positive, healthy environment for both staff and residents.

Key result areas include ensuring program is developed to meet all objectives and outcomes, ensuring compliance of services in a recovery and transitional living program, adhering to state licensing, VA regulations and agency policy, providing leadership in the care and wellbeing of clients as well as facilitate the growth of program staff and provide quality human resources in hiring, termination, and professional performance. Ability to effectively work with multisystem community partners, including hospitals, mental health providers, veteran service providers and detox centers a must.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a business management field with an MBA preferred. Minimum 3 years supervisory experience required. Minimum 2 years’ experience in program management or oversight, required. Experience in fiscal management of budgets greater than $400,000 preferred. Counseling Licensed Addictions Councilor (LAC) or LCSW preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required. Additional skills should include strong understanding of cognitive behavioral therapies and social learning approaches as well as maintaining a trauma informed, therapeutic approach while encouraging clients to take responsibility for their lives. This position is Full-Time, paid at an annual rate of $60,000 and includes optional benefits.
