The WEEKEND Safety Associate is responsible for the safe and sanitary distribution of food on our Sandwich Line.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensure appropriate inventory
- Enforce sanitation protocols
- Maintain sanitary grounds outdoors
- Monitor Sandwich Line for safety
- Enforce safety protocols
- Resolve low-level conflicts
- Offer First Aid (training provided)
- Liaison to Auraria Campus Police Department
- Train volunteers in proper protocols
- Manage volunteer database
Available shift: 9am - 12pm both Saturday and Sunday
Hourly Rate: $15.87 per hour
Great job for a upper class college student, retiree, or extra weekend income.
- Understands and is willing to comply with safety and sanitation standards as dictated by external authorities
- Can be a calm yet firm presence with our volunteers and the population we serve
- Computer literate
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- High School Graduate; some upper level education preferred
- English speaking; Spanish speaking a plus
- Conflict Management experience preferred
- First Aid certified a plus (otherwise, training provided)
- Must be willing to complete Archdiocese of Denver Safe Environment Training
- Must submit to and pass a Background Check
