Blessed Trinity Catholic School in Miami Springs/Virginia Gardens, Florida has an immediate opening for a qualified K-5 Elementary Teacher for the current 2022-2023 school year. This teacher will be required to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for grade levels K-5. The K-5 Elementary School teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on certification and years of experience.
Qualifications:
- BS / BA Degree in Education or Elementary Education.
- FDOE Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education, Grades K-6, temporary or professional required.
- Minimum of one year of teaching experience preferred.
- Experience working with educational computer software including digital grade books and lesson plans.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Strong presentation skills with skill in use of instructional technologies, such as Apple hardware/software, iPad, and MS Office suite.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel, PowerPoint a plus.
- Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
- Must have knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Good spelling and grammar required.
- Must have a professional demeanor.
