Job Summary:
This position sets and executes strategy to increase church involvement and engagement across Miami-Dade county. The goal of this position is to get more church congregations involved in the vision of having a home for every child in crisis, as well as increasing overall church involvement in every aspect of the 4KIDS ministry.
Job Duties:
- Contact church leaders and lay leaders so as to make connections and foster partnerships with 4KIDS
- Coordinate appointments with church and lay leaders for the Executive Director Miami-Dade
- Work with Vice President of Community Engagement/Director of Church Relations on annual strategy and goals
- Lead tours and focus groups
- Connect members of local church bodies to 4KIDS ministries
- Engage and cultivate 4KIDS supporters at the local church level
- Deliver printed 4KIDS promotional materials at local churches
- Present the ministry of 4KIDS and/or help provide information at church presentations
- Spearhead and coordinate partnership opportunities between 4KIDS and local churches
- All other duties as necessary
Job Requirements:
- Three years previous church advocacy, development, or communications experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally, both in writing and in verbal communication
- Ability to conduct church wide or small group presentations
- Understanding of Biblical advocacy
- Biblically literate
- Must possess a valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation that can be used on a daily basis
- Must successfully complete initial drug screening
- Must successfully complete annual background screenings
