Qualifications
•
Three years previous church advocacy, development, or communications experience
•
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
•
Strong interpersonal skills
•
Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally, both in writing and in verbal communication
•
Ability to conduct church wide or small group presentations
•
Understanding of Biblical advocacy
•
Biblically literate
•
Must possess a valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation that can be used on a daily basis
•
Must successfully complete initial drug screening
•
Must successfully complete annual background screenings
Responsibilities
•
This position sets and executes strategy to increase church involvement and engagement across Miami-Dade county
•
The goal of this position is to get more church congregations involved in the vision of having a home for every child in crisis, as well as increasing overall church involvement in every aspect of the 4KIDS ministry
•
Contact church leaders and lay leaders so as to make connections and foster partnerships with 4KIDS
•
Coordinate appointments with church and lay leaders for the Executive Director Miami-Dade
•
Work with Vice President of Community Engagement/Director of Church Relations on annual strategy and goals
•
Lead tours and focus groups
•
Connect members of local church bodies to 4KIDS ministries
•
Engage and cultivate 4KIDS supporters at the local church level
•
Deliver printed 4KIDS promotional materials at local churches
•
Present the ministry of 4KIDS and/or help provide information at church presentations
•
Spearhead and coordinate partnership opportunities between 4KIDS and local churches
•
All other duties as necessary
