10+ years of experience of finance and accounting

5+ years of experience supervising direct reports

Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
•
CPA or equivalent required
•

Responsibilities
•
The Director of Finance will direct KJM’s overall financial and accounting planning, practices, and activities, providing analysis, accurate reporting, and recommendations on the financial operations of the Ministry
•
Manages all aspects of KJM’s finance and accounting department, including financial reporting, operational accounting, internal controls, cash management, budgeting, and CapEx
•
Develops and maintains timely and accurate financial statements, balance sheets, and reports by GAAP principles and communicates these reports to the board of directors, finance committee, and executive leadership
•
Oversees and establishes guidelines for budget and forecast preparation and prepares the annual budget in consultation with the various Ministry departments, CEO, and COO of KJM
•
Drives the financial planning process of the ministry by analyzing its performance and risks, implementing strategies that optimize the overall financial goal and vision of the ministry, its entities, and campuses
•
Establishes relationships with banks and other financial institutions for investment opportunities
•
Negotiates with vendors for income-producing and expense reducing strategies
•
Works in conjunction with the Financial Committee and all strategies and projects of the ministry to provide recommendations to the CEO, COO, and Board of Directors
•
Oversee the Ministry’s annual financial audit
•
Manages the Ministry’s financial and accounting systems
•
Other duties as assigned
