Full Job Description
Immaculate Conception Catholic School in Hialeah, Florida has an opening for a First Grade Teacher for the current 2022-2023 school year. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for Grade 1 students. This First Grade Teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will be based on years of experience and certification.
Qualifications:
- BS / BA Degree in Elementary Education.
- Florida Department of Education Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education, temporary or professional required.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Strong presentation skills with use of instructional technologies.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel. PowerPoint a plus.
- Experience in classroom instruction preferred.
- Effective oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Good spelling and grammar required.
- Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
- Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
- Must have a professional demeanor.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
