Duties and Responsibilities:
Medical
- Ensures services are provided in compliance with licensing funding and Catholic Charities Policies and Procedures.
- Completes prescreen of referred consumers and initial medical assessments during consumer intake process.
- Confirms with physician any allergies reported by consumer and ensures kitchen staff is notified of any allergies.
- Schedules applicants and assisting the physician assessment to include lab screenings, physiological and/or psychiatric assessment, medical and psychiatric history and medication assessment and needs.
- Provides rapid HIV testing with pre and post counseling session.
- Organizes needed medical and other supplies in consultation with the physician and program director.
