MorningStar Renewal Center in Pinecrest, Florida has an immediate opening for a Part-time Hospitality Coordinator for the Center. This person will be assisting in retreats and programs by guiding volunteers in food service, assists the group with set up of retreats/events, being a point of reference for retreat leaders and coordinating events for groups who visit the center. The Part-time Hospitality Coordinator performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
Qualifications:
- High School degree or GED. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Knowledge and commitment to ministry of hospitality from the perspective of a servant-leader.
- Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to maintain focus on and professionalism with people in challenging situations, both in person and by phone.
- Good oral and written English and Spanish language communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Must have a hospital able and professional demeanor.
- Knowledgeable about and supportive of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church.
- Must be able to work one to two weekends a month.
