Full Job Description
Immaculate Conception Catholic School in Hialeah, Florida has an opening for a First Grade Teacher for the current 2022-2023 school year. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for Grade 1 students. This First Grade Teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
Qualifications:
- BS / BA Degree in Elementary Education.
- Florida Department of Education Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education, temporary or professional required.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Strong presentation skills with use of instructional technologies.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel. PowerPoint a plus.
- Experience in classroom instruction preferred.
- Effective oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Good spelling and grammar required.
- Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
- Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
- Must have a professional demeanor.
