Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Miami, Inc. is hiring an enthusiastic teacher aide to work in an accredited Child development center with preschool children, looking for energetic and caring individuals to join our team of dedicated professionals and make a difference. The teacher aid is responsible for conducting developmentally appropriate activities for children according to the Council on Accreditation (COA), National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) guidelines and to ensure compliance with all the performance standards and DCF licensing requirements.
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; DCF 45 hours (Introductory 30 Child Care Training Hours, 10 Hour Special Needs and 5 Literacy Hours); Valid Staff Credential (Child Development Associate, An active National Early Childhood Credential (NECC), Formal Educational Qualifications, or An active Birth Through Five Child Care Credential awarded as a Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC); Completion of a National Child Development Associate.
