Manages the administrative and operational activities for the Assurance of Learning and Accreditation Office in the College of Business. Provides support to FIU Business Leadership Team in areas of accreditation.

  • Manages the collection, compilation, and analysis of data with which to prepare reports that support planning and accountability, facilitate collegewide decision-making and assist the College in attaining strategic and operational goals.
  • Compiles and reports on institutional data for internal and external constituents.
  • Manages the operational aspects of administering, collating and documenting the results of the Assurance of Learning (AoL) undergraduate and graduate student learning outcome assessments.
  • Serves as the college's liaison for the College's Office of Accreditation.
  • Provides College Leadership support in the production of year-end annual goals assessment report and scorecard, as well as the completion and submission of internal and external surveys including the EBI exit surveys for all graduating students.
  • Manages the collating and documentation related to accreditation and program reviews. Manages the maintenance of AoL web pages on College's intranet.
  • Manages the University revision process of graduate and undergraduate catalogs and submission to the relevant departments for updating their web pages.
  • Manages the student survey processes for administration and
  • compilation of entrance survey data.
  • Manages entry of data and working with various university and college systems. Composes and/or prepares correspondences, memoranda, meeting minutes, and reports using appropriate applications and tools.
  • Interprets university administrative and/or fiscal policies and procedures. Provides recommendations on procedures for the unit to improve administrative and/or fiscal operation for the programs and office site.
  • Performs related duties as necessary or as directed. The omission of duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of appropriate experience, or Master's degree and two (2) years of experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working in Higher Education.
  • Knowledge of academic accreditation process.
