Summary: The producer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing content productions from beginning to end for different media platforms. This includes creating workflows and timelines to ensure the timely completion and success of projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. (Other duties may be assigned.)
- Brainstorming and developing innovative concepts for different multimedia projects including trips, in-house ministry events, media campaigns, live webcasts, special projects & others.
- Writing and copy-editing scripts for productions.
- Select images, sound bites, and other elements for videos.
- Monitoring pre-production, production, and post-production processes in order to ensure accurate completion of all details including: Scripting, shooting of b-roll & interviews, scouting and reserving locations for recordings (including getting written permits when necessary), researching facts, contacts & stats, ordering graphics, coordinating editing, recording VOs, audio mixing, product delivery to different platforms (& other steps that may vary from project to project).
- Communicating with teams and supervisors to discuss production goals, progress and ensure production objectives are being met.
- Reviewing products before final delivery to ensure quality & accuracy.
- Resolve issues that arise during the production process by acting as a liaison between dissenting parties when necessary.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree (4 Year Degree); or 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
English and Spanish - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software and Inventory software, Adobe Premiere, Dropbox basics, rundown creator.
