Job Overview:
The Project Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of multiple construction and improvement projects running at the same time. Hiring contractors and setting or adjusting project schedules to adhere to deadlines. Important responsibilities for the Project Manager include:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: 


  • Manage ongoing construction and renovation projects for the ministry. 
  • Assess facilities needs and expansion projects. 
  • Prepare budgets based on scope of work and resource requirements and track project costs.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
  • Performs quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
  • Contract and Negotiate with qualified consultants, contractors and professionals to work on the project as appropriate.
  • Coordinate inspections and permits and keep them on file. 
  • Draft sketches and proposals for assigned projects. 
  • Negotiating bids and contracts for third party workers. 
  • Prepare applications and permits needed for the project.
  • Delegate tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them
  • Adjust schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change
  • Prepare and present reports and design proposals. 
  • Coordinate internal resources and third party/vendors for fully compliant deliverables. 
  • Perform risk management and access environment impact to minimize project risks. 
  • Communicate with all senior level leadership by providing weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, analytics, statistics and all projects operations.
  • Set up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured.
  • Resolve any problems that may arise during the process of the project.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Professional Qualifications
  • PMP certification
  • CPM is a plus
  • AutoCAD
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline

Education and/or Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Project Management or Architectural field.
General Contractor experience required.
5+ years of project management or related experience
Experience with project management software tools.
