St. Michael the Archangel Catholic School in Miami, Florida has an immediate opening for a qualified Grade 1 Elementary School Teacher for the current 2022-2023 school year. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for First Grade students. This candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on certification and years of experience.

Qualifications:
- BS/BA Degree in Education.
- FDOE Teaching certificate in Primary or Elementary Education, temporary or professional required; but considered with a Statement of Eligibility.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Strong presentation skills with use of instructional technologies.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Good spelling and grammar required.
- Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
- Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
- Must have a professional demeanor.
