Full Job Description
St. Michael the Archangel Catholic School in Miami, Florida is seeking a full-time Spanish Teacher for grades K-8 for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for Spanish students. This teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Spanish or related field.
- Florida Department of Education Teacher Certificate in Spanish K-12; temporary or professional required.
- Knowledge of the cultures, heritage and rich diversity of the countries that make up the Spanish-speaking world.
- Complete mastery of the written and spoken Spanish language.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Demonstrate willingness to positively contribute to the professional community.
- Strong presentation skills with use of digital books and other interactive classroom technology.
- Must have clear and concise communications with students and parents.
- Supportive, and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
- Must have a professional demeanor.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $10.00 per hour
