Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies education or related field.
  • Florida Department of Education certificate in Social Studies- temporary or professional required.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Must be willing to be trained in the International Baccalaureate philosophy and its ongoing education.
  • Able to work collaboratively with other teachers and department staff.
  • Must have clear and concise communications with students and parents.
  • Demonstrated technology skills needed for digital books and interactive classroom technology.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
  • Fully committed, supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church.
  • Must conduct themselves in a professional manner consistent with the tenets of the Catholic Church.
