Primary Purpose:
The Wellness Promoter will be responsible to provide wellness and adjustment services to immigrant youth that reside in the local community. The Wellness Promoter will conduct wellness screenings to assess for signs of emotional distress and work collaboratively with the Youth Case Manager to make referrals to community mental health or other providers. The Wellness Promoter is also responsible to facilitate a culturally and developmentally responsive community-based adjustment support group for immigrant youth that promotes emotional wellbeing and social connection.
