The relationships between different communities in "Da Capo" are strengthened by examining the music, food, and traditions of the Asian American diaspora. The piano concert will be held on Tuesday, April 11, from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., at Estonian House Great Hall.

Through music, art, and community, "Da Capo" tells the tale of two young people from diaspora communities as they deal with their own complicated identities, find kinship in one another, and cultivate a dynamic and ever-evolving relationship with homecoming.

The program includes works by Ho, Ramnath, Baker, Kats-Chernin, Hisaishi, Beethoven, and Fauré.

Marimba Magic- An Interactive Concert for Kids

Listen to marimba master Makoto Nakura as he discusses his approach to playing this enchanting African instrument in Marimba Magic- An Interactive Concert for Kids. It is scheduled for Saturday, April 15, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., at Church In the Gardens, 50 Ascan Avenue Queens.

A Festival of Psalms: Choral Concert featuring Organist David Briggs

Hear David and Kerensa Briggs, a father and daughter choral pair, perform their world premiere concert, A Festival of Psalms. It is scheduled on Friday, April 21, at the Church of the Heavenly Rest.

The choral psalm setting will be performed by the Canterbury Choral Society, The Chorus & Choristers of Heavenly Rest, Members of the Canterbury Choral Society, a Brass Quintet, and Percussion under the direction of Janet Yieh.

On Saturday, April 22, INTENCE will have a Gift from God concert and give their first-ever American performance in Queens, New York. It is scheduled at Jericho Palace Banquet.

Harry Hype, T. Shella, S. Shampoo, and B. Boom will bring the music to the event.

Godlings Three

Music and acting will be performed live at the concert, reading Godlings Three, a new musical. It is scheduled on Saturday, April 22, from 7:40 p.m. to 9 p.m. EDT, at Art House Astoria Conservatory For Music and Art.

The live concert reading is a handful of young actors who have collaborated with Rock Rising to create new performances and perform the screenplay live to the music of Summer Dregs.

Jonathan McReynolds will perform a monumental show at Town Hall Theatre - NY, that you cannot miss. The concert is scheduled for Thursday, April 25, at 8 p.m. 

The Jonathan McReynolds New York concert will almost certainly feature a performance of "Everything," as it is a fan favorite. The crowd would also enjoy hearing Jonathan McReynolds perform the crowd-pleaser "Lovin' Me (Instrumental)."

Gloria Fanchiang- Psalms Album Release Concert

Gloria Fanchiang, a singer/songwriter and worship leader, is returning to New Jersey for one night only to share her new sophomore worship album, Psalms, as well as her experience of God's faithfulness over the past few challenging years since arriving in LA at the start of the pandemic.

It will happen on Saturday, April 28, from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Catalyst Agape Church.

Gloria will also perform songs from the Psalms album and her compositions for worship. The "God Who Sees Us," which she performed at the 2022 InterVarsity Urbana Missions Conference, will be featured in the concert.

Riverside Orchestra's Spring II Concert

Hear Price and Tchaikovsky performed by the Riverside Orchestra at their Spring II Concert on Friday, April 28, from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. at St. Paul & St. Andrew United Methodist Church 263 West 86th Street, New York.

Price's "Ethiopia's Shadow in America" and Tchaikovsky's "Symphony No. 5" will be performed.

WBGO Kids Jazz Concert

Bring the kids out for an afternoon of jazz with songs chosen by jazz musicians on Saturday, April 29, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., at  The Newark Museum of Art. Stefon Harris will serve as an ambassador for jazz education among young audiences.

Famous jazz musicians from all over the world perform in New York and New Jersey as part of the WBGO Kids Jazz Concert Series. These performances introduce young audiences to the joys of jazz, improvised music, and musical collaboration.

Hudson Valley Sally in Concert

Listen to the live performance by New York City's own Hudson Valley Sally, a folk music group, on Sunday, April 16, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. EDT, at Old Stone House of Brooklyn.

It is the band's 10th annual performance at OSH.

They will guest a Puerto Rican singer-songwriter-cuatro player, Mario Cancel-Bigay, and an Argentine singer-songwriter-guitarist, Ruben Gonzalez.
