Requirements:
Must be a Christian and represent not only CrossLife Church, but also Jesus Christ Himself and
demonstrate a willingness to love, know, trust, and follow Christ.
High School diploma required; some college preferred
Discreet, pleasant, tactful, and capable of honoring confidential communications
Working knowledge of office equipment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Self-starter, flexible and work well in a team environment
Responsibilities:
Attend midweek college service to greet people and identify first-time guests.
Assist with recreation and sports scheduling, registrations, attend periodic games and assist the
Recreation Minister as needed throughout sport's seasons.
Perform general office work; maintain supplies and various files; keep records and compile
these into periodic or occasional reports. Accuracy and attention to detail is a must.
Exercise tact, courtesy, confidentiality and diplomacy in receiving communication, in person, by
telephone or by email; keep a calendar of appointments.
Make outgoing calls such as ordering materials or supplies, pick up supplies as needed.
Keep accurate church records, (e.g. church members, prospects, calendar, etc.), working in
cooperation with the Membership Assistant.
Responsible for paying invoices, check request writing, and ministry bookkeeping/ accounting
working in cooperation with the Financial Director.
Scheduling events or rooms and following church policy regarding building usage.
Plan social media posts in cooperation with the Communications Director.
Graphic design as required by the ministry.
Perform all other duties as assigned by the College and Recreation Minister.
Qualifications/Experience:
Previous administration experience is a plus.
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Ability to work with graphics and plan social media posts; experience with Adobe products or
Canva is a plus.
Good Organizational skills.
