University of Central Florida Catholic Campus Ministry is a dynamic ministry that seeks to proclaim the Gospel message to new generations of Catholics. This position supports the missionary objective of CCM by assisting the UCF Director of Campus Ministry in administrative tasks and duties, harmonizing team efforts and communications, and streamlining organizational practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assists the Director of Campus Ministry with office administration.
  • Handles office tasks, such as filing, generating reports and presentations, mailings, calendars, setting up for meetings, and reordering supplies.
  • Assists in maintaining and tracking finances, expenses and credit card records, using computers to generate reports, transcribe minutes from meetings, create presentations, and conduct research.
  • Occasionally updates CCM website and social media, and monitors effective engagement.
  • Maintains department’s schedule by maintaining calendar, arranging meetings, conferences, and teleconferences.
  • Completes requests by answering or referring inquiries via the telephone; greets visitors; refers calls to appropriate person, entity, or outside agencies.
  • Maintains “customer” confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as need.

. Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Associate’s degree preferred and three to five years of secretarial experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English helpful.
  • Must possess excellent writing skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Requires an appreciation and respect for the Catholic Church and its teachings.
  • Church employees must conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent with and supportive of the mission and purpose of the Church.
  • Their public behavior must not violate the faith, morals or laws of the Church or the policies of the diocese.
