Part-Time Campus Pastor
Are you passionate about walking alongside Christian college students and encouraging them in their faith? We are looking for a part-time Campus Pastor to develop meaningful relationships within the Reformation Bible College (RBC) community, and support and guide students with theological and biblical wisdom during this significant period of life.
Duties and responsibilities
- Proactively meet with students to encourage and pray with them
- Be present and available on the RBC campus during the week.
- Plan and present at discipleship groups or other events as requested by the Director of Student Services.
- Meet with the Student Care Team at their regularly scheduled meetings.
- Help RBC administration with difficult situations or acute issues as they arise, including referrals to pastoral or professional counseling resources.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
- 5 years of pastoral experience with a Reformed congregation
- 3-5 years of experience in a counseling role preferred
- Male
- Able to work 10-15 hours a week
- Ability to subscribe (with approved exceptions) to the Westminster Standards or Three Forms of Unity, or 1689 London Baptist Confession
- Ability to affirm (with approved exceptions) the Ligonier Statement of Faith: Extended Version
- Affirmation and agreement of the Vision, Purpose, Distinctives, and Convictions of Reformation Bible College
- Membership in good standing of a confessional church, Presbyterian or Reformed
- An empathetic and professional demeanor
- An understanding of and ability to explain Reformed theology
