Just as the body of Christ must function properly, so must the land and buildings comprising the various entities of the Diocese of Orlando. The Coordinator for Ecclesiastical Properties will be a key contributor to the Ecclesiastical Properties Secretariat by providing coordination and administrative support in the areas of real estate, design, construction, and facility maintenance.

Working closely with the Ecclesiastical Properties staff, pastors, business administrators, the Office of Schools, and related entities, the Coordinator for Ecclesiastical Properties will be responsible for a variety of duties, including document management, research, data entry, and meeting coordination.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.

Manage contracts, listing agreements, permit applications, and other related documents.
Manage network file folders and hard copy files.
Enter completed projects and warranty information into database system.
Maintain database of vendor Certificates of Insurance (COI).
Manage vendor qualification applications.
Order surveys, lien searches, and due diligence reports.
Conduct property and demographic research.
Schedule meetings.
Create agendas and minutes for various committee meetings.
Support the Senior Director of Ecclesiastical Properties on various assignments as needed.

. Requirements:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and real estate or construction administration experience preferred.
Minimum of 5 years as an administrative assistant or office manager in a real estate, construction, or related firm. Must have experience in technology-based office management and office support.
Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within the real estate and construction fields.
Requires proven multi-tasking capabilities. Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and time demands. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and database systems.
The working hours of this position are not limited to an 8-hour day. Must be willing to work in conditions of stress and function well under pressure.
