Community Church (www.casselberrychurch.org), located in Casselberry, Florida just north of Orlando, is seeking a part-time Director of Children’s Ministry. Our mission is to reach those not reached with the good news of Jesus Christ, and grow with them into fully devoted followers of Him. We are a gospel-centered congregation with weekly attendance of 100 adults. We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and highly organized Children's Ministry Director.
This position requires the following:
-Commitment to gospel-centered ministry that brings the good news to children as well as partnering with families in their discipleship.
-Commitment to recruiting and developing high quality volunteers
-Open communication with staff, volunteers, parents and church family
-Attention to detail and professionalism
-Advance planning and preparation for weekly Sunday School, Children’s Church and our yearly Vacation Bible School
-Self-motivated and strong work ethic
-Humility and willingness to grow personally and professionally
--Energetic and works well with children
-Ministry certification preferred, but not required
-Experience working with Children’s Ministry and/or recruiting and managing volunteers
-Desire to expand the ministry to greater impact families in and beyond the Community Church congregation.
