QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma
3+ years of related experience
Heart for service to the Lord
Desire to empower people to serve
Self-motivated, self-directed requiring minimal supervision
Embrace change and can adapt quickly with a “whatever it takes” attitude
Able to figure it out, follow through, and get it done
Strong ability to relate to all staff with compassion, humility, and confidence
Requires technical skills, flexibility, and excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to identify and meet strict time constraints for specific tasks

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee all aspects of the Facilities department, including staff, volunteers, and proper care and maintenance of buildings and grounds
Build a team of volunteers to help serve in facility management and beautification
Manage the use of and maintenance of all vehicles, ensuring their operational readiness for all ministry needs
Schedule personnel weekly for general coverage and for events and services to ensure proper staffing levels
Review and approve calendar requests for facility and vehicle use
Rapidly troubleshoot and resolve issues on campus affected facilities
Lead facility rotation events and ensure facility setups are complete for events and ongoing activity on campus.
Maintain compliance logs required by legal and governmental agencies to successfully operate our campus.
Develop and execute maintenance and preventative measures to ensure equipment consistently runs at peak performance
Maintain log of items to be corrected and enter tasks as needed to resolve later
Maintain storage across campus and sign out/sign in of equipment
Maintain cleanliness of all areas throughout the campus
Maintain and order consumable supplies such as janitorial supplies, filters, light bulbs, and other supplies necessary for facility readiness.
Seek out and implement new technology and resources to improve campus operations and efficiency
Manage projects and coordinate with vendors as needed

GENERAL EXPECTATIONS:

Attends regular church and team staff meetings as required.
Participate in cross-functional Facilities Team planning and preparation.
Utilize task tracking and capacity management system.
Carry and operate a two-way radio while on-campus.
Operate ladders, lifts, tools, and other equipment in a safe manner.
Develop detailed knowledge of operation and integration of all equipment.
Put measures in place to ensure that equipment and supplies are secured against damage, loss, or theft.
Begin and end projects within reasonable timeframes and communicates needs.
Proficient with current technology and communication tools.
Aligned with organizational vision, goals, values, and policies.
Works well with others and within a team environment.
