Job Description
*Oversee all programming and ministry for children ages birth to 5th grade, 300-500 in attendance, including Sunday services, mid-week services, summer programming, and special events.
*Regularly select and develop a curriculum for a children's Christian education for each age group encouraging spiritual formation and growth.
*Direct the recruitment, training, and development of volunteers as needed to staff children's ministry classrooms and special events. Implement children's registration, classroom management, and security policies/practices in alignment with church guidelines and legal requirements.
*Maintain a strategy for reaching and assimilating new children and families to be engaged in the church. Maintain a strategy to reach children in the area schools.
*Assist in the development of an annual budget and manage spending to budget.
*Provide Pastoral care and oversight of children and families.
*5 years plus Children's Ministry Experience.
