Production Systems and IT Equipment
- Operates, maintains and safeguards the technical assets of the church, including supervising the use of lighting, sound, video and lighting systems, and communications equipment.
- Advises and maintains the churches email, internet and phone systems; including the Ministry School and private school. Includes: KCA, Advance school,
Church, Other multicultural ministries; Portuguese, Spanish, Haitian Creole.
- Makes recommendations to the church leadership regarding capital purchases of technical equipment.
- Assists with the preparation and control of production budgets; maintains inventory and orders specialized supplies.
- Manage and track all AVL inventory
Media
- Produces quarterly intro videos for pre-service
- Produces ministry videos as needed
- Assist in recording for special events and video shoots.
Team Management
- Advises production managers, lighting, video and sound designers, on the technical specifications, costs and usage of technical equipment required for the ministries and supervises the implementation of approved technical designs.
- Assists in recruiting, training and assignment of volunteer or paid technical staff.
Goal is significant depth (3 deep) in all volunteer positions you oversee.
- Hold Tech Team members to standards of excellence in all team functions. ie.
Promptness to meetings and events, team unity, job performance, knowledge growth, etc.
- Encourage, disciple, and invest spiritually into your volunteer leaders and team
Weekend Services
- Attends technical rehearsals, in order to supervise and assist in the technical aspects of the services.
- Designs, sets up, maintains, and operates lighting, video and sound systems for theater, music, chapel and other productions and projects; assists guests with technical matters.
- Supervises and assists with set and stage construction and management.
- Partner with the Worship Director and any other production staff on ensuring weekend services/events are executed in excellence.
Job Requirements:
- Must have broad hands-on experience with technology in a modern worship production environment
- Formal training in production or related discipline
- High-level understanding of ProPresenter 7, Blackmagic ATEM Switchers, Audio
Mixing & Recording.
- Able to mix audio, program, and run lighting, expertise in presentation software and execution, proficiency in video presentation.
- Proficient in Worship planning and scheduling software (Planning Center Online).
- Someone who shows the capacity to juggle a lot of tasks simultaneously, and enjoys doing so – Self-Starter.
- Good communication skills and a people person.
- Professional completion of time-sensitive tasks related to weekly events and services.
- Growing understanding of the technical field with the ability to research and recommend the best solution to technical issues.
- Proficient in AVL (Audio, Video, Lighting) wiring, soldering, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- The ideal candidate enjoys production technology, is highly tech-savvy, able to learn and master new technology quickly and thoroughly
- Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
