Qualifications:
1. Competence: Undergraduate degree in related field preferred. Training in Leadership and management helpful. Proven ability to lead and develop leaders, build teams, and cast vision for a high impact church. Experience in Student Ministries. Familiarity with Orange Curriculum
2. Chemistry: Has an affinity with Kensington Leadership, vision the way we do church, who we are trying to reach and how we do team.
3. Character: Teachability, humility, moral/ethical integrity, the desire to grow spiritually. Must work extremely well with others.
4. Calling: Expresses and has confirmation of a desire and call to lead in student ministry. Affirmation of the mission, values, and beliefs of Kensington.
5. Requirements: Membership at Kensington Church Orlando. Background Check.
Responsibilities:
1. Main communicator (for 6-8th grade).
~Train and Develop New Communicators.
~Develop series and content for Breakaway
2. Program weekly large group gathering.
~Lead process for creating an attractional gathering for Breakaway including environment and program that attracts the seeker and brings growth to the already devoted follower of Christ.
3. Recruit, Develop and grow a volunteer team (including high school students) that love and invests in our students.
4. Train small group leaders and implement a small group culture within Breakaway.
5. Lead retreats, camps, and local events to attract and grow students.
6. Develop meaningful relationships with students, leaders, parents and attenders.
7. Assist the Family Pastor with campus wide projects, events, services, and high school ministry as needed.
8. Create and execute budget for middle school ministry
9. Execute all administrative duties associated with middle school ministry
10. Attend student activities including but not limited to games, recitals, performances
11. Provide direct leadership for Middle School ministry. Participate in staff meetings and events as required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20,000.00 - $25,000.00 per year
