Responsibilities
•
Associate Pastor for Evangelism and Minister of Congregational Care, this position is responsible for providing coordination and logistical support of ongoing programs, regularly occurring meetings, events and special projects
•
Independent judgment is required to execute special projects, plan, prioritize and organize and manage workload
•
Due to the nature of this position, the coordinator must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion
•
Provides administrative support, direction, guidance and/or training to the ministries
•
Maintain pastor/minister and corresponding ministry’s calendars, coordinate meetings, and/or set appointments
•
Make travel arrangements when necessary
•
Generates department correspondence and/or reports
•
Uses appropriate computer tools to analyze, compile, update and maintain the ministry’s correspondence and meeting minutes
•
Manage receipts,submit and reconcile expense reports; submit expenses and check requests
•
Provide general support to office visitors
•
Liaise with other staff members to handle requests from senior leaders
•
Participate, as needed, on office-wide administrative projects and functions (i.e. rotation of reception desk coverage during breaks; workbook or mass mailing assembly; etc)
•
Attend the appointed staff meetings on a weekly basis for planning, coordination, and personal/team growth
•
Coordinate workflow with the assistance of church volunteers as desired
•
Other duties as assigned
•
Assist with administrative elements of Evangelism Department functions like church planting (global, national, local), evangelism training, the Heritage Committee, the Presbyterian Connections Committee
•
Work in coordination with The Collaborative Coordinator occasionally to execute programs or special projects‘
•
Administer the Collaborative social media plan; edit Collaborative website
•
Assistance with the administrative needs of the Presbyterian Connections Committee, and liaise with staff in other denominational bodies and the Evangelical Presbyterian Church
•
Enter deacon/pastoral reports into church membership database (Touchpoint)
•
Assist in the administration of memorials and funerals
•
Assist the Congregational Care minister with scheduling and executing Young at Heart (YAH) events and overall YAH ministry
•
Serve as a liaison between Holy Stitches and Congregational Care Minister
•
Assist with the planning and production of Congregational Care classes
