DEPARTMENT: Marketing

POSITION: Hybrid (This is a hybrid position that allows for employees to work from home 2 days, and be in-person the rest of the week.)

STATUS: Non-Exempt

 

SUMMARY:

Reporting to the VP of Marketing and Advancement, the Multimedia Marketing Designer (MMD) is responsible for the creation and development of advertising and marketing collateral to ensure quality and consistency with the College’s brand and strategic objectives. The MMD will deveop visual concepts and visual assets to be used in campaigns, websites and printed materials. This role requires a highly creative and imaginative individual who can operate within the framework of our style and brand guidelines to produce original and engaging visual content.

WORK PERFORMED:

  • Development and design of concepts, advertisements and promotional materials to be distributed through print, radio, television, social media, OOH and other media
  • Conceptualize and create based on an established brand aesthetic and style
  • Create graphics for internal and external promotional media
  • Work with the creative team to brainstorm and share design perspectives, ideas, and understand project scope and objectives
  • Responsible for monitoring and updating the College website on a regular basis (to include the development of web pages, banners and events)
  • Assist with in-house photography and videography for archival and promotional purposes
  • Assist related departments with marketing projects as directed
  • Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results to the VP of Marketing and Advancement
  • Ensure and adhere to the given Marketing Budget
  • Communicate with vendors including printers, photographers, videographers, freelancers, etc.
  • Perform any other duties required to ensure the fulfillment of the job function

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor Degree required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing or similar field

  • Commitment to Jesus Christ through new birth experience
  • Must have proven Christian character and spiritual maturity

SKILLS

  • An impressive creative portfolio that clearly shows knowledge and execution of good graphic design
    • Please add link to your online portfolio or other samples that demonstrate your skill
  • Experience working with branding guidelines with an eye for design
  • Strong, polished aesthetic, meticulous sense of detail, and ability to create simple solutions to complex design challenges
  • Knowledge of layouts, grids, graphic fundamentals, proportion, perspective, composition, typography, color theory, print, and the web
  • High level of proficiency with industry standard Adobe CC applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Outlook email and MailChimp
  • Willingness to take creative direction, adapt on the fly, and offer solutions that drive to succeed
  • Work independently in a fast paced environment while meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work across functional groups and management teams
  • Deadline-sensitive and capable of handling stressful situations well
  • High level of intuition, resourceful, creative thinker, excellent relational and time-management skills, cross-cultural awareness

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Physical Demands:

  • 90% of the time is spent sitting at desk using the computer and phone

Hours:

  • This job requirement is for 40 hours/week
