Description:
A talented music teacher is required to teach students in grades PK4-8. To develop the students' appreciation of music and encourage them to participate in our Junior choir (grades 3-5) or the Liturgical /Show Choir for students in grades 6-8. Conduct our Beginners Band and Advanced Band and, in conjunction with the drama department, assist in the production of the annual school musical and oversee the various Christmas programs.
Requirements:
The candidate should be a certified music teacher.
Be a practicing Catholic who provides the music for our weekly liturgies.
Work cooperatively with the faculty and administration; be flexible and supportive of classroom performances throughout the school year.
Evaluate students' interests, aptitude, temperament, and individual characteristics to determine suitable instruments for beginners.
