Description:
Our Nursery Workers provide engaging interaction and loving supervision in a safe, nurturing environment. Care is regularly provided on Sunday mornings (8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.) for children birth to age five, and weekdays/nights for children birth to fifth grade. Workers provide age-appropriate care using positive reinforcement while ensuring a safe environment at all times. Requires strong interpersonal communication skills and a genuine love of children. Must be comfortable with all aspects of infant and toddler care including diaper changes, potty training assistance, and feeding. Evening, holiday and weekend work hours required.
Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships and adapt messages in an audience-appropriate manner.
- Previous experience or education in childcare or early childhood development.
- Ability to work effectively in an active environment with frequent interruptions and distractions.
- Ability to remain professional under pressure and resolve conflict in a Christ-like manner.
- High level of discretion and emotional intelligence with the ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
- Skilled in technological applications and software, internet and mobile telecommunications programs.
- Ability to demonstrate high levels of tact and accountability in a dynamic, challenging setting.
- Proactive, progressive-thinking and positive approach and attitude.
