About This Role

The role of the Office Administrator is to plan and implement the activities of the church office while providing a welcoming and confidential environment. This position strategizes and handles many aspects of behind-the-scenes communication, administration, and logistical duties to support the ministries of the church.

Primary Responsibilities and Tasks of the Office Administrator

  • Warmly receive guests, answer phones, and respond to voicemails and emails.
  • Make sure office is clean, supplied, and properly functioning (inc. copier, office supplies, staff work area, kitchenette).
  • Schedule and facilitate office repairs and services (pest, fire, copier, coffee, security, computer/network repair, piano tuner, etc.)
  • Seek out ways to support the pastoral staff and church ministries. This includes printing, folding, filing, scheduling Town Park, helping outreach ministries, etc.
  • Coordinate and maintain calendar for events and facility use.
  • Maintain church records (attendance, membership, etc.) in Planning Center and corresponding databases.
  • Provide birthday cards to Lead Pastor on a monthly basis.
  • Verify lobby information materials are supplied and up to date.
  • Mail pickup and distribution.
  • Order supplies for Sunday Connect Teams (Greeters, Coffee Bar, and Welcome Desk).
  • Attend weekly Staff Meeting (Tuesdays, 9:30-11:30am): Provide calendars, communicate calendar events, take and distribute notes to staff, coordinate food for special celebrations.
  • Prepare and proofread documents as necessary.
  • Print and gather resources for Discovering Avalon Class.
  • Print and display temporary signage as needed.

Your Team

This position reports to the Lead Pastor

This position works closely with all church staff.

Your Schedule

This is a part-time position with 25 hours per week, 9:30-2:30pm, M-F.

Salary range: $15-$19/hr.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

We follow CDC guidelines, so currently masks are optional.
