POSITION SUMMARY

We are searching for an Operations Manager for our Community Arts Connection program. This is a leadership position for the individual who wants to combine his/her skills with our talented team in a challenging, rewarding, and innovative environment. Reporting to the Access Ministries Director, this position will oversee the Community Art Connection program model and manage the daily operations of the arts based programming for adults with special needs.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Oversee support staff that will fall under Community Art Connection, includes, but not limited to hiring, training, scheduling and managing staff based on programming.
  • Direct all activities of CAC and support staff; to include providing leadership and expertise on emerging issues in the special needs community.
  • Build relationships with the CAC participants and their families/caregivers.
  • Manage billing aspects of the program, including maintaining accurate registration records, creating invoices, and collecting payments.
  • Collaborate with other ministry leaders to recruit, train and mobilize towel holders; assigning appropriate tasks and manage/appreciate staff & towel holders in their roles
  • Effective communicator: demonstrate high emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills to include ongoing communication with donors, families and caregivers, CAC participants, staff and towel holders.
  • Maintain and update content of the CAC Website, social media and other communication elements.

EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to multitask; be productive, focused, and flexible in a creative & sometimes chaotic environment.
  • Ability to give clear directions and lead in a classroom/group environment.
  • Must be able to work independently with little oversight while maintaining a high degree of quality and professionalism.
  • Have a natural ability to interact and communicate effectively with people of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Preferred experience/education/training in the arts.
  • Preferred special needs community experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $41,600.00 per year
