Description:
A teacher assistant is responsible for: maintaining a safe, faith based learning environment, ensuring the health and safety of the students and assisting with instruction based on the Florida Developmental Early Learning Standards and the Florida VPK Standards (if applicable). The candidate must also demonstrate good communications skills with parents and coworkers.
Requirements:
Applicants must be dependable, honest, and enthusiastic about working with children.
One-two years of experience working with children in a preschool setting is preferred.
Completion of 45 DCF mandated childcare certification hours is a plus; if not must be able to complete DCF hours within the first six months of employment.
Must be able to pass level 2 fingerprint clearance.
