CrossLife Church is a family oriented, gospel-centered church with a mission to build lives that matter by teaching people to love, know, trust, and follow Jesus. We are located in Oviedo, FL, just outside of Orlando where within a five-mile radius of the church the fastest growing demographic is adults 24-35. We have two different styles of worship on Sunday mornings that include a Choir/Orchestra led service and a Band-led service. We are excited to call a Worship Arts Associate to our team! The ideal person for this role will have a positive personality, interpersonal skills, and be a self-starter who requires little management. They will need to be a high-capacity leader with a strong drive to see the mission of CrossLife Church accomplished. The Worship Arts Associate will answer directly to the Worship Pastor but will also keep in mind that they are a part of the greater ministry of the whole church.
Purpose of the Job:
The Worship Arts Associate has the daily responsibility of working closely with the Worship Arts Pastor to ensure the overall mission and vision is accomplished.
Must Have:
- Clear call to ministry
- Music or Worship Degree
- Vocal and Instrumental Worship Leadership skills (Preferably guitar or keys)
- Ability to lead a Choir
- Familiarity with Planning Center, Propresenter, Ableton, and other software related to Worship
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve quickly
- The ability to function at a high capacity in a fast-paced environment
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Assists in planning and leading Worship Services and Special Events
- Assists in recruiting and training volunteers
- Rosters Team Members for Worship Services and Special Events
- Supports set and stage construction and project management.
- Assists with leading rehearsals for band and choir
- Creates rehearsal plans in Planning Center and sends invites to participants
- Creates and/or Uploads chord charts to Planning Center
- Ensures that all Multitracks are created and/or purchased, loaded into Ableton, and ready for rehearsals and services.
- Responsible for inputting lyrics for Worship Services and Special Events
- Attends weekly Worship Arts Staff Meeting

of scripture, tithing to CrossLife Church

Department.
