Full Job Description
We are looking for a skilled worship leader who has a heart for Christ and will invest their gift, time, and energy into this church and help lead the people in biblically sound worship.
We would love to have someone who has some musical instrument experience (i.e. lead guitar, piano, etc.) but this is not required.
Requirements
- Worship Leader experience
- Gifted in singing
- Must live within 40 minutes of the church
- Reliable
- Teach/Lead a music team
- Comfortable with/willing to learn worship media software
Hours Worked
Sunday mornings: 8:00am - 11:00am | Practice / Service (3 hrs)
Wednesday evenings: 4:00pm - 7:00pm | Staff Meeting / Midweek Service (3 hrs)
Weekly practices: \*as necessary (1-2 hrs)
Total = 6-8 hrs
Job Description
Lead in Christian worship music with biblically-rich lyrics (i.e. City Alight, Sovereign Grace, Getty Music, Shane & Shane, etc.).
Teach and lead new songs for Sunday services.
Be available for other possible times of worship for events throughout the year (i.e. Mission Conferences, Holiday events, etc.).
Arrive prepared and on time for every practice on Sunday mornings that take place from 8:00am-9:00am and worship at 10:00am.
Beyond the specific position of leading in worship, all staff members at Liberty are expected and encouraged to be involved, with their families (wife & children) if applicable, in Liberty's services, events, and outreaches to the best of their ability.
