Barefoot Student Ministries: Standing on Holy Ground of First United Methodist Church in Mount Dora, FL is seeking an outgoing, spiritual leader to direct the spiritual growth and ministry activities of the church's youth and young adult ministries. Our current program involves 60-75 youth each week. Barefoot exists to REACH teens with the gospel of Jesus Christ, to help them GROW as His disciples, and to transform the world by helping teens SERVE others.
Our 800 member purpose-driven church has both contemporary and traditional worship styles with a focus on discipleship and outreach. We seek to fulfill our mission of “Loving God, Loving Others.” Mount Dora is a growing community that presents a unique challenge to reach out and influence young people by providing meaningful Christian examples through positive leadership.
This full-time position as the Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries receives a livable salary and benefits. No pumpkin patch fundraisers. Youth ministry experience and passion for students is required.
