About this event

Using the outstanding curriculum Dismantling Racism: A Youth Curriculum, this two-day event will help Middle and High School youth have conversations about race and build relationships to address systemic racism in their context. The goal is to help youth connect their faith with racial healing in our communities.

Youth (aged 13+) may attend. Priority will be given to youth from the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania.

The event is free for all attendees. This is an in-person event located at the Episcopal Mission Center (https://www.stlukesgermantown.com/team-3-1) on St. Luke's campus, 5421 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19144. You will receive directions and further details after registration.

Full attendance is required for BOTH days, March 26th-27th, 2022, 9:30 am – 4 pm. This is a commuter event; a light breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided.

There is also an orientation meeting for parents/caregivers and youth on Monday, March 14, 2022, 7:00pm via Zoom which is mandatory. A Zoom link will be emailed to you before the meeting.

Dismantling Racism: A Youth Curriculum was developed by the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta and the Absalom Jones Center.
