On this tour, you’ll explore the rich history and culture of one of this nation’s chocolate cities, Philadelphia! The subject of one of W.E.DuBois’s hallmark books, the city was once a hub for Black people during the colonial period and remains a hub today. You’ll visit the city’s most important cultural and historical sites.

Join Sawari Tours on our exciting bus tours which highlight the nation's Black cultural and historical sites, and Black-owned businesses! Our tours are fun, engaging, educational, and family-friendly! They are led by expert tour guides and are held on comfortable, air-conditioned buses!

Open to all ages!

Bus Tour Schedule:

10 a.m. Tour Meet-up at Mother Bethel AME Church

10:10 a.m. Tour Begins

1 p.m. Lunch Begins

2 p.m. Tour Resumes

3 p.m. Tour Ends at Temple University

Details:

Ticket Price: $150 (includes the price of one meal, soft drink, and all entry fees)

Tour attendees are encouraged to take public transportation to the tour meet-up location.

Masks are required and you will be asked to complete a release form before the tour begins.

Please dress comfortably for light walking and appropriately for the weather. Bottled water will be provided.

There are no refunds for this tour unless it is cancelled.

Tours with low registrations will be cancelled and guests will be refunded.
