MINISTRY ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR
(Part time – 24 hours/week; located in Phoenixville, PA)

The Ministry Administrative Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support for the IHS Global Ministry Services team. This person will work with the Senior Ministry Coordinator to 1) compile, maintain and report on training data; 2) address technical and communication issues; 4) assist in the coordination for ministry events and trainings; and 5) other ministry-related tasks, as needed.

Responsibilities

Compile, maintain and report on training data:

  • Data entry as directed by the Senior Ministry Coordinator.
  • Maintain the Current Training Database and other related databases.
  • Support in monitoring and evaluation to improve the ministry and ensure best practices.
  • Communicate ministry data and testimonials to Ministry Advancement.

Assist in creation of reports and mapping of data, as needed.

  • Address technical and communications issues:
  • General administration of the Saline Online Community and the future Salt & Light Online Community.
  • Answering technical inquiries for these Online Communities.
  • Identifying and addressing issues with bounced emails.
  • Answering technical inquiries related to the Saline Process Online Training and the future Salt & Light Process Online Training.

Assist in the coordination for ministry events and trainings:

  • Work with teammates to organize travel arrangements.
  • Assist in the finance reporting and tracking related to travel, trainings and events.
  • Provide support for logistical and conference details for IHS Global ministry events.
  • Support administrative details for virtual events (webinars, trainings, conferences).

Other ministry-related tasks, as needed. Such as:

  • Logistical support for international coordinators and trainers.
  • Communicating on behalf of IHS Global to partners or trainers, as requested.
  • Attendance and/or logistical support for IHS Global events.

Other: Responsibilities at the discretion of the Senior Ministry Coordinator, International Director of Ministry Services, Executive Director, and President.

Qualifications

  • Maintains a Christian faith and demonstrates the desire to be a witness for Him in all areas of life.
  • Highly proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Comfortable with technology and able to quickly learn new programs/software.
  • Experience and desire to work with a faith-based non-profit.
  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience in a non-profit environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a collaborative environment.
  • High attention to detail, while working on multiple projects at one time.
  • Experience serving in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Professional maturity and personal integrity with a desire to meet and exceed
  • expectations and inspire others to be and do their best.
  • Willingness to represent the mission, value and principles of IHS Global both professionally and personally.

Salary and Benefits

  • Compensation based on experience ($23-25/hour)
  • While the position is based in the IHS Global office, there is flexibility in remote and onsite work in agreement with the supervisor.
