Minimum of two (2) years of college or equivalent work-related experience
•
Minimum of three (3) years-experience as an Administrative Assistant in a high-productivity environment

Minimum typing 50 WPM with accuracy and transcribing experience

Intermediate productivity software skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook)
•
Working knowledge of relevant marketing tools and social media applications such as (Facebook

Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, WhatsApp, Google Analytics, etc.)

Proficiency in the use of standard office tools (computers, copy machines, etc.)

Fluency in and excellent command of English composition and punctuation

Responsibilities
•
Reports to: Director of Operations
•
FLSA Classification: Full time, Non-exempt (hourly)
•
The Administrative Support Specialist works with operational and ministerial leadership to manage the clerical, technical, and general administrative functions of the church
•
Tuesdays-Fridays: In Office (8:00 AM 5:00 PM)
•
Compose and post online content to Social Media accounts across Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram
•
Utilization of analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, email campaigns, blog, web analytics, etc.)
•
Periodic updates to church website content as needed
•
Operation of office hardware (phones, copiers, postage machine, folding machine, etc.)
•
Filing and preparing paperwork, business letters, and other correspondence
•
Interaction with vendors and contractors
•
Ordering and maintenance of office supplies and equipment
•
Organization and maintenance of church calendar
•
Coordinate scheduling for weddings, funerals, and baptisms
•
Preparation of weekly bulletins and other congregational correspondence
•
Preparation of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual church-wide reports
•
Coordinate travel arrangements for speaking engagements
•
Maintain and up-date all standard forms including business and ministry literature
•
All other tasks as assigned
