Job Summary:

The Audio-Visual Technician position will oversee support and facilitate meaningful in-person and virtual worship, ensuring that Sunday morning services, are able to utilize technology efficiently, effectively, and strategically to enhance the experience of those attending in-person and virtually.

This position is based on-location Sundays from 8:30am-11:30am and Thursday evenings 7pm-9pm with flexibility to support additional ministry services and events as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

· Work with church staff, leaders, and volunteers to provide audio-visual needs for church services, choir practice and occasional events.

· Maintain all A/V equipment and make recommendations for repairs or improvements to worship director.

· Provide a vibrant, accessible, and distraction-free worship experience both in-person and virtually.

· Maintain a reliable system for services, including but not limited to:

· Audio mixing, monitor mixing, and audio recording (knowledge of current equipment)

· Lighting

· Operating multiple cameras

· Live Streaming and video recording

· Running slide presentations and video clips

Requirements

· Formal training or experience in production or related discipline a, with willingness to learn.

· Some hands-on experience with technology in a modern production environment.

· Knowledge of audio systems and a basic understanding audio production.

· Knowledge of wired and wireless microphone technology and maintenance, including battery and cable maintenance.

· Detailed knowledge of live and streaming video environments.

· Ability to learn and master new technology quickly and thoroughly.

· Ability to effectively collaborate, communicate, problem-solve, and maintain a resilient and positive demeanor.

Technical Skills:

Experience with OBS and soundboard mixing preferred but not required if skilled in similar software and hardware. Training on OBS specifically can be provided.
